Country detection
We compare your IP address with a country database stored on this server to decide which ad providers to use. This lookup does not contact Google or a geolocation API and does not create a visitor-IP log. The web host may retain its normal security/access logs. Country detection is approximate, particularly when using a VPN or proxy. For mainland China, or when the country cannot be identified, this integration does not load Google advertising or Analytics.
